CAFES DE MEXICO
|
This
edition is characterized by the proposals of Dr. Gabriel Barreda,
president of the Union of Coffee Producers CNC, in the different
branches which provide, that of the importance of safety in the
production of coffee, and as an instrument of extension programs
certainty in social development.
These proposals define a coffee policy different from what is
currently practiced, there are many points that require special
attention but drew attention on the issue of the extension as a
means of certainty in social development, which are not
representative of the sector leaders who are due to interests
outside the coffee sector, this line should be a general
restructuring, which takes the true leaders of the sector because
this is one of the most important and has been in check to everyone
without any progress in social development mainly producers. There
are some good examples such as Cafe La Selva that are worthy of
further, however we would like to know they carry some associations
that only look at who claims to be their leader or representative,
which often have nothing to do with the coffee but still continue to
live and gain the privileges offered by participating in the trade
coffee.
Hopefully for the good of Mexico and its producers are removed these
characters so much damage they do to the social and economic
development of the country.
As in many occasions in this forum has commented that producers need
is to organize, without this element are easy prey to interest only
seek the exploitation of producers. And
let that image of the subsidy culture, as the saying goes "do not
give me to eat fish, better teach me to fish."
Finally we are pleased that this proposal will be discharged within
the Chamber of Deputies, where they are today members with
experience in the coffee sector and can provide the will for the
exercise of a different policy that benefits all alike in a balance
of future development. |
